The Passion for Chthon

This is the second series of artwork inspired by Piers Anthony's Chthon and Phthor — not as much in the spirit of the books as the first series were, but far closer to the general direction of fantasy art, strongly influenced by fabulous works of Boris Vallejo and Luis Royo. Piers Antony himself, after reviewing the porftolio, regarded the artwork as "striking" but stated that some of the pictures would "annoy maiden aunts or censors."
