Coffee Drafts

These rough sketches are called "coffee drafts" because they were drawn directly from the images seen in coffee grounds. That also applies to the drawings from Black Coffee With No Sugar series, but those are more refined and detailed, while these drafts are way more sketchy. Unlike the "No Sugar" drawings, that were made on copybook pages and have strict numbering, the coffee drafts were drawn on small sheets of writing paper and their exact chronology cannot be determined. But they were all made in 1996, during a short break in BCWNS series.
